Not much to update, viscous coupler is still bad and have had zero luck finding one at all, much less one in good shape with lower mileage and the u joints are still going bad. Figure I might as well fix those both at the same time whenever I can find the needed parts. Also thinking about trying to find a lower mileage or fresh z6 block for cheap and throwing my head on it, so that I don't have to worry about tuning the mini me setup, since I already have a p28... hopefully I can at least have the driveline issues fixed by winter so I have the 4wd, as I'm more than likely gonna get rid of the Buick later this year to get some money put away and my truck is pretty useless in any snow.

Do like I do, horde any decent parts. Eventually we won't be able to find any.

Long time since I've posted, or even been on the forum. Managed to get my hands on a viscous coupler a month or so ago, now it's just a matter of getting it put on. Then hopefully I can get the wagon tuned next year. Miss driving it, but it's definitely starting to show its age. Heater core is starting to go, plus it needs a few window seals replaced, had to do a lot of ice scraping inside the car last winter. Also need to figure out if there's a way to get rid of some of the shifter slop on the cable shifters... cause mine is pretty bad. My dad, brother and I were on the brink of getting a house together last month, but my dad lost his job so that put that out of play. Hoping to be in a house soon, if I can have somewhere inside where the car can be stripped down and have things replaced as the money and time becomes available and not have to worry about weather, I'll have a bit more motivation to start on restoring it.

Well what an uneventful year for the wagon... it has been sitting, sitting, and sitting some more. I did buy a used, but lower mileage than mine shifter box for it though lol. I think I may go a different route than originally planned and try and make the wagon mainly an autox build... maybe turbo. I have some decisions to make before I know the path I'm gonna take, hopefully have an answer for myself in the first couple months of the year.

Autocross is definitely a fun thing if you don't want to travel, but if I were you I'd definitely suggest setting it up for a larger track and just take it out of state. Totally worth it!
